It’s all about the art of dough-making and bread-baking in this workshop. This class is a great foundation for kids to learn how to bake different types of breads and develop some basic skills that they can develop by practising at home.The class is 3 hours long and is suitable for 10-13 year olds. Kids Cook Baking Workshop for Kids – January 4th, 2018 – 1:30-4:30pm
Using tried and tested recipes and techniques with our top quality equipment and ovens, the students will get the best help they need to create successful breads.
We will include yeast and non-yeast breads. This is a hands-on class, where the students will work step-by-step through the process of making dough, kneading, resting, rising. Plaited bread, wholemeal soda bread, bread rolls and a sweet bread will all be on the menu. During the workshop, we will take a break to sit down together to eat home-made soup (that they will help with making), with one of the breads that they have made. They will take home the rest. All ingredients, a meal, drinks are included. Aprons provided. Recipes provided after the workshop.
