It’s June and the school holidays for secondary schools have started. Are you looking for something for your teenager to do? Why not consider our three-day cookery course here at Kids Cook? It will run for three afternoons (no dragging them out of bed early in the morning!) from June 14th -17th.
Based in our modern cookery school in Clonee, this course will give teenagers some basic cooking and baking skills, taking them step-by-step through a range of recipes. They will work in small groups, hands-on, following the teacher’s guidance to make a range of meals, snacks and baked goods.
We also cover kitchen safety and hygiene, food nutrition and theory.
The course is sociable, fun and informative, we have had great feedback from previous students and parents. They say they feel like they are in the Masterchef or Great British Bake offs kitchens.
After the course, they will have gained some very practical skills, as well as increased confidence and independence that they can put into practice at home. All recipes are provided to take home, and they are tailored to be easy enough to recreate without too much fuss.
Kids Cook is easily accessible from North, West and South County Dublin, as well as parts of Kildare and Meath. It is located in the village of Clonee, minutes drive from the M50 junction for Blanchardstown / Navan.
