We all appreciate our mother’s cooking, so why not think about cooking for mother, or with mother as we approach Mother’s Day? Here at Kids Cook, we are putting on two special classes.
The first is a Mother’s Day Gift workshop, which is open to children aged 5+. Think how proud they will be to bake their own gift for mum and package it a nice gift bag and ribbon. As a throw back to our childhood memories of our Mum’s baking, we will be baking Viennese biscuits. These versatile biscuits are SO yummy, and can be enhanced either by sandwiching together with jam and buttercream, or dipping in melted chocolate!
The second class at Kids Cook takes place on Mother’s Day itself, Sunday 6th March, and is a Mommy and Me Class. Mums and kids will show their love by baking an indulgent caramel rolo cheesecake together under the guidance of the Kids Cook teacher. Who will give their last rolo? For mums and kids from aged 3+, it’s a lovely way to spend some time together relaxing and bonding on Mother’s Day morning. Leave the mess behind in the Kids Cook kitchen and take your cheesecake home for the family to enjoy for dessert. Hopefully, Dad will have cooked the dinner!
